Beloved Servant

From a Life of Survival to Total Surrender
 

For the first 18 years of my life, my whole world was built on a lie. I grew up believing I had no father, moving from state to state, living out of cars at rest stops, and staying in shelters until we finally settled in Tampa, Florida.
 

My mother carried deep abuse and trauma, and she could only give out what she knew. Even as a child, I somehow understood her pain and never held it against her—but I could never wrap my head around why I was always the one pushed away, removed from the home, and treated like I was the problem. Just two years ago, the truth finally came to light: my father was never absent by choice—my mother had hidden him from me my entire life.
 

Running, Playing Church & Heartbreak
 

      Three months after turning 18, I packed up, left Florida, and never looked back. I was completely on my own. I moved to California to nanny for a God-fearing family and even got baptized—but I wasn't surrendering to Jesus. I just wanted to impress a boy at church.
 

     For the next 15 years, I wasn't sold out for God—I lived as an unbeliever, fighting completely in my own power. I spent a decade and a half running, chasing validation, and getting my heart broken by the same man in different bodies, all while carrying the heavy armor of survival mode.

 

The Mirror & The Breakthrough
 

   When my heart was broken that final time, God didn't just break the relationship—He pulled back the curtain on my entire life. He revealed that I had been operating out of an avoidant attachment style my whole life, protecting myself by keeping people at arm's length while running from real connection. God used that man as a direct mirror to show me who I had been, stripping away my blind spots so He could save me for real.
 

  He exposed the deception, healed the root of rejection, and ended the exhausting cycle of self-protection. For years, I was made to feel like an unwanted outcast. But at the cross, God flipped the entire script: I was never the problem; I was always His project.

The girl who was kept from her earthly father was brought home by her Heavenly Father. The child who was pushed away was renamed, redeemed, and called His Beloved Servant.

Where My Strength Ended
 

      Beloved Servant wasn't born out of a perfect past—it was forged in the raw reality of being rescued out of survival mode and restored by the truth. Where my strength ended, God’s true purpose began.
